Cut Ank Table
A cut ank is five more than the ank, with the tens dropped. Below is the whole rule in one grid — every ank from 0 to 9 with the cut ank it carries, and the 100 pannas that give that ank, split into single, double and triple.
How a cut ank is worked out
Add five to the ank and drop the tens. So an ank of 3 gives a cut ank of 8, and an ank of 7 gives 2 — 7 + 5 = 12, and the tens go, leaving the 2.
The rule pairs each ank with the one directly opposite it on the dial, so the ten anks split into five pairs: 0↔5, 1↔6, 2↔7, 3↔8, 4↔9. Because five is its own opposite, an ank of 5 is its own cut ank.
Note that a cut ank is not a panna and is not a separate play. It is simply the number opposite the ank on the board, and it is what operators quote when they call an opening result a cut.

This page only does arithmetic on the 1,000 possible three-digit pannas. It does not connect to any market, does not place a bet and does not predict a result. Most Indian states treat matka betting as illegal — play only if you are 18 or over, and never with money you cannot afford to lose.
